Tiemen,

Thanks, man! Yes, life with Meridian as is among my most cherished experiences. Lately, we've been doing a lot of reading ... German translations of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, James and the Giant Peach, The B.F.G. (Dahl is a favorite!), Charlotte's Web, Winnie-the-Pooh, and so on.

It's sooo much easier than translating on the fly! I don't know why I didn't think of ordering translations earlier.

hey david, while stumbling across your blog looking for actionscript wisdom I came past this one, and though this entry is 1,5 years old already, it's a beautiful one. This one especially, it paints an almost magic picture. Hope you're enjoying life with the three year old Meridian as much as you described here.

The truth is, we have a wonderful relationship, unique among any I’ve had. Although it encompasses a number of facets, it mainly feels like friendship, but at a deeper level of trust than most. Above all, it is preciously innocent. Meridian makes me feel like Christopher Robin, while she alternates among the various characters at Pooh Corner.
