Lately, we’ve been doing a lot of reading … German translations of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, James and the Giant Peach, The B.F.G. (Dahl is a favorite!), Charlotte’s Web, Winnie-the-Pooh, and so on.

It’s sooo much easier than translating on the fly! I don’t know why I didn’t think of ordering translations earlier.

The truth is, we have a wonderful relationship, unique among any I’ve had. Although it encompasses a number of facets, it mainly feels like friendship, but at a deeper level of trust than most.
