I always use Photoshop to make anaglyphs, but I’m almost certain Fireworks would suit just as well. As a matter of fact, your question sounds like a terrific idea for a CommunityMX.com tutorial. I’ve been meaning to get more into Fireworks anyway, so this gives me a fun excuse.

I’ll check through my old anaglyph bookmarks to see how many of them still point to valid URLs. I’ll be happy to respond to you offlist with those, but it may take me a week or so to catch up.

I’ve been searching the net for advice on anaglyphs and came roundabout to your blog. Since I’m also studying Flash (and like you completely self-taught) I began wondering if my Fireworks software which came along with Studio 8 would be a good program in which to work on anaglyphs. And seeing your page, I thought you might be able to advise me in general about where to find helpful information about anaglyph 3d? I’m excited by the potential but not having much success yet on my own. I’d be so appreciative if you could give me a tip or two about where on the net to go for information.
