First Time Here?
The articles on this blog are ultimately sparked by whatever occurs to me on a day-to-day basis. When writing about Flash and ActionScript in particular, I try to stick with topics that seem to consistently mystify developers who are new to the application. If I had to choose a number of “cornerstone” articles, I would suggest the following:
- Objects: Your ActionScript Building Blocks
- Tackling the ActionScript 2.0 Language Reference
- Debugging ActionScript 2.0 Code: Lifting the Blindfold
After those, the rest are pretty much pick-and-choose, depending on your personal interests. Every now and then, I write about web development in general or share a few Quick Tips not necessarily related to Flash.
I occasionally throw in a personal note, too, because multimedia isn’t my life, as much as it sometimes feels that way. People are always the most important, most interesting topics.
